A few months later a past neck problem resurfaced, resulting in major spinal surgery. As part of my rehabilitation I went back to Angie and we began the road to fitness again.

It's 8 months since my operation and I am now fitter and stronger than I was even before.

Completing the London Olympic Distance Triathlon (1.5k open water swim, 40k bike 10k run) in 2hrs 33mins blew all of my expectations out of the water!

I was hoping for a sub 3hr time, I finished 49th in my race (with only 5 other females finishing before me) out of a mixed male and female field of 355.

I had trained with Angie for 18 months prior to competing, so I was confident in my body's functional strength, endurance and my mental toughness.

Just 3 months prior to competing Angie customised my training to enable my body to cope with the demands of the hours of Tri Specific training I would need to undertake.

The functional training methods Angie used accelerated me right into the top 15% of athletes in my first competition. I can only conclude that all athletes and weekend sports warriors alike could see their dreams realised and blow away their targets by incorporating this sort of training into their regime.
